Death of David Dorsey
Mr. David Dorsey who was accidentally wounded about three weeks ago, and who was thought to have recovered from the effects of his wounds, died quite suddenly at his residence on Snake river on Thursday last. The news of his death reached Silver city Friday evening and on Saturday a party of friends went over to the ranch and brought the body to town where it was buried on Sunday under the auspices of the Masonic lodge of which Mr. Dorsey was a beloved and honored member.
Mr. Dorsey was universally esteemed as a most worhty and useful citizen. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss.
