Death of Mother Cochenour: Another of Pike county's pioneers has been called away. This time it is mother Nancy Anna Cochenour who was laid to rest by loving hands in the Waverly cemetery on last Saturday. She was relict of Joseph Cochenour. much esteemed and respected in his day. Rev. Joseph Emerich handed this office on last, the following brief obituary:
Mother Nancy Anna Ridgeway was born November 5, 1832 and died at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 3 days. She was married to Joseph Cochenour March 31, 1850. To this union were born eleven children, Two of whom died in infancy. Mother Cochenour was a devout believer in God and eternal salvation. She leaves thirty seven grandchildre, one brother and one sister and a host of friends to mourn her departure.
