According to 1860 and subsequent 1880 Census Records, Alfred and Monica Ridgeway had the following children: John, George, Mary, Elizabeth, Michael, Rosetta, Joseph A. Lucy M., Adam A., James Leo, and Hannah A. (Looking at census records, it appears that Hannah was listed as "Eliza" in the 1860 record.)

According to research documents, Alfred RIDGEWAY married Monica STREITENBERGER when he was 18 years of age and she was 15 years of age on April 30, 1846 in Pike County, Ohio. Also noted that he began military service 194 and 196 C Ohio Infantry, Union.
