Phil married Lucille Rogers. She has been a teacher in San Francisco ca. They lived in Pearl Harbor and in 1926 came to AZ to visit.
Lucy arrived first and Helen said she was "warm and friendly" and had a "lively personality." She brought "canes and sailor caps and grass skirts." Helen & Fran(youngest daughters of Phil's sister Agnes) danced hula for them and Agnes played the piano. They had no kids as far as Helen knows. However, the obituary named 2 children. These could have been his children with another wife. He was married to Vivian T. Briggs and their daughter was Barbara Dean Aiton.
According to ancestry.com - the 1923 Flagstaff phone directory lists Phil & Lucille living on Mt. Vernon Avenue and Phil is a "brakeman" for Santa Fe.
