Two Arizona Birth Certificates are associated with Sam T. Aiton.First, on January 15, 1926, at 9:45 P.M. female child Flora Lee Aiton was born to Sam T. Aiton and his spouse, Jewell Burgess. At that time their residence was 625 North 1st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. This child was the second born to the mother. The Certificate states that the father was 33 years of age, and was from Texas, and the mother was 27 years of age, and was from Oklahoma. The occupation of the father was boilermaker.Second, on February 27, 1933, at 8:05 A.M. a male child was born to Sam T. Aiton and Jewell Burgess. At that time their residence was Cordes, Arizona. This child was the fourth living child born to the mother. The Certificate states that the father was 40 years of age, and from Austin, Texas, and the mother was 33 years of age, and from Ryan, Oklahoma. Family history and other records show a Samuel Turner Aiton born 3 Nov 1892 in Austin, Travis, Texas to Dr Robert Alexander Aiton (FAG 70068446) and Mary Emma McClintock (FAG 70070220). Mary died in Texas but Dr Aiton was well known in Arizona and died and was buried in Superior, Pinal, Arizona. Several other of his brothers and sisters also lived and died in Arizona.Information on Arizona Gravestones.org states Samuel was born Nov. 3, 1892, Hot Springs, Arkansas, died July 9, 1978, Prescott, Arizona. He was the son of Robert Alexander and Mary Emma(McClintock)Aiton.
