DNA evidence led to the name Madlinger, which led to a birth record in Germany.
She was born in Sasbach, a town just North of Renchen where her first husband Raymond Behrle was from.
She is the daughter of Xaver Madlinger and Genovefa Vierling.
Geneva's name is spelled Genovefa on the 1870 Census, just like her mother.
(the German birth record says she was born on the 4th, though that might be her baptism date, hard to tell, it was just an index of the record, no image)
Sasbach is located in The Ortenau, described at Wikipedia as
"a historic region in the present-day German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is located on the right bank of the river Rhine, stretching from the Upper Rhine Plain to the foothill zone of the Black Forest. In the south, it borders on the Breisgau region, covering approximately the same area as the Ortenaukreis, a present-day administrative district with its centre at Offenburg."

It seems Geneva's mother came to America after Xaver died.
"Madlinger, Xaver from Sasbach (+), Debt liquidation of his widow Genofeva Virling because of emigration to North America. No. 92 from April 1, 1832 [also 6.4. and 8.4.1832]"
I believe Franziska (Madlinger) Witnauer is Geneva's sister, my father currently has DNA matches to at least 16 of her descendants. (memorial #75689273)
Other children of Xaver and Genovefa were:
Maria Anna who married Michael Dietmeier in 1820
Katharina who married Phillip Riehle in 1823
Brigida who married Anton Eisele in 1826
and
Franz Xaver b1818 d1819
Geneva married Bernard Boschert in about 1850, after Raymond died.
