George Rumple, 74, formerly of 514 Ridge Street, Alton, died Thursday night at an Alton hospital. He had been a resident of the Madison County Nursing Home in Edwardsville since October of 1971. He was born December 31, 1897 in Alton.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Henry Lenhardt of Edwardsville.
