D. KENNETH Canfield, 86, of Hermitage, TN and formerly of Youngstown, died Friday, January 20, 1995 at the Summit Medical Center, Hermitage.
He was born June 25, 1908, the son of David and Kittie Lou Canfield.
A native of Youngstown, he graduated from the former Youngstown High School and for 25 years owned a service garage in Youngstown. For 28 years, he worked as a service manager for the RC Courter Chevrolet dealership in Ransomville.
Canfield was an exempt member of the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co. and a former member of Youngstown Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Leola (Diez) Canfield of Hermitage; one son, David Gregory of Hickory, TN; two brothers, Rex H. and Clarence "Bill", both of Youngstown; two grand-children; and several nieces and nephews. ·
He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur H. Canfield.
A memorial service will be held Sunday (Jan. 29} in Hermitage Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Oakland Rural Cemetery, Youngstown,
