Sonya Hoyle-Roddy, 49, passed suddenly Wednesday at Community General Hospital. Sonya leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Donald of Rochester, NY; daughters, Tamara J., Teadra J., Tamia D. and special daughter, Alexandria Clark; grandchildren, Jah'mere, Jayden, Jahbari and Jah'marion; her sister, Linda D. Alford; brother, Victor M. Hoyle; godsisters, Belinda Clark and Karen Edwards-Huggins; mother in-law, Mary Pasha; several aunts, uncles; nieces, Jamie and Danielle; nephew, Prentiss; cousins; other relatives and friends, including her best friend, Linda Dixie, all of Syracuse. Calling hours will begin 10 a.m. Wednesday, with funeral service following at noon at People's AME Zion Church, 2306 South Salina Street, Bishop Leroy McClain Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
