Mildred L. Woomer
Mildred L. Woomer, 77, of Point Pleasant, died Monday, May 3, 1993 at the Cabell County Hospital.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 23 and a nurse technician at Pleasant Valley Hospital for 16 years.
Born February 22, 1916, she was the daughter of the late William Garfield and Lena B. Oliver Darst.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald R. Woomer, one brother and three sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Lena L. McDermitt and Pearl Cole, both of Point Pleasant; three sons, William H. Woomer and James E. Woomer, both of Point Pleasant and Lewis A. Woomer, Huntington; and two brothers, Clifford Darst, Columbus, Ohio, and Frank Darst, Point Pleasant.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Rowe and Pastor Dale Vollmar officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
