Dell Adwell, 96, of Northtown community died at 11 p.m. Saturday at a Glasgow, Kentucky nursing home after a lengthy illness. The Hart County native was a retired farmer.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Winn Funeral Home in Horse Cave, Kentucky with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation was scheduled to begin at noon today.
Survivors include three sons, Garland Adwell of Monmouth, Illinois, Roger Adwell of Louisville, Kentucky and Leo Adwell of Horse Cave; four daughters, Mayvonne Chapman of Monmouth, Illinois, and Alvene Coates, Edith Chapman and Norma Jean Martin, all of Horse Cave; a brother, A.C. Adwell of Horse Cave, 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
