Ferris, telegraph editor of the Bulletin, claimed as his bride Miss Elizabeth Gillette, a talented Los Angeles girl and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Gillett of Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. The Rev. William Ross Lloyd of Salt Lake City, a close friend of the bride's family, read the ceremony at 11 o'clock in the morning in the presence of relatives of the two families. Among those who witnessed the ceremony were Mr. Ferris' mother, Mrs. Lillian W. Ferris, recently of Chicago and now of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Fred B. Gillett, mother of the bride.
