Aged 86 and a Phoenix resident since 1958, Isabelle passed away after a brief battle with ovarian cancer on July 20, 2009 at the Gardiner Hospice in Phoenix. She was born in Champaign, Illinois to Everett and Lillian Lewis, where her father was studying law. She was an excellent homemaker and taught homemaking at Desert View School for 10 years. Isabelle was known for her kindness and loved her family, roses, hummingbirds, and playing bridge.
She was preceded in death 4 months and 4 days earlier by her beloved husband of 63 years, Gene Burton Hubble. She is survived by their 3 daughters and 9 grandchildren. Services will be August 1, 2009 at 11 AM, Church of the Beatitudes, Britt Chapel, 555 West Glendale Street in Phoenix, AZ.
