Mrs. Earline Davis Box
Services were held at the Bethlehem Baptist Church on Nov. 24, 1993 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Carlis Braswell, Rev. Jimmy Flake and Rev. Don McCain officiating. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora.
Mrs. Box was born in Montgomery County, Ms. on August 27, 1918 to Cully Andrew and Eula (Stewart) Davis. She passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 1993 in the North MS. Medical Center in Tupelo as a result of heart failure. She was 75 years old.
Mrs. Box was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Choctaw County.
Mrs. Box was a resident of Ackerman, Ms. and was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Herman Box and one son, Mr. Bobby Ted Box.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Freida (Gene) Jones of Louisville, Mrs. Sandy Puttman of Grenada, Mrs. Patsy Reed of Hoover, Alabama and Mrs. Debbie (Wesley) Gammill of Ackerman, three sons, Mr. Billy Joe Box and Mr. Larry Box of Ackerman and Mr. Anthony Box of Pearl, Ms. two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Jenkins of Ackerman, and Mrs. Clara Mae Woods of Stewart, four brothers, Mr. Nesbert Davis, Mr. Paul Davis and Mr. Calvin Davis of Stewart and Mrs. C.A. Davis of Weir, Ms. sixteen grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the services were: Patrick Ray, Scott Putman, Mark Box, Billy Joe Box, Wesley Gammill and Tony Box.
