Clarence Wayne Archer, Sistersville, Rt 2, died yesterday morning in the Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville.
He was born in Tyler county, son of the late Jackson and Sophia Folger Archer, and was a farmer.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elsie Archer; three brothers, Earl Archer, Weirton, James R. Archer, Canton, O., and Charles F. Archer, Cleveland, O.; one step-brother, Coy Ice of Bryson, Tex; a step-sister, Mrs. Rada Fletcher, Sistersville.
One sister and one step-brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Sawyer-Goodwin funeral home, Middlebourne, after 6 p.m. today, where rites will be held Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Cook will officiate and burial will be in the Archer's Chapel cemetery, Tyler County.
