WEIRTON-Thomas Earl Archer, 61, of Pleasant Valley Trailer Court, died Tuesday at 3:55 p.m. in the Weirton General Hospital.
He was employed by the Weirton Ice and Coal Co., and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Violet Haught Archer; two sons, Alan Archer of Weirton and Bruce Archer of Inglewood, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Joann) English of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Zatezalo and Mrs. James (Carole) Harlan, both of Weirton; two brothers, Ray Archer of Canton and Frank Archer of Cleveland and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Clarence and a sister, May Knowlton.
Friends are being received at the Bellanco Funeral Home, 7-9 p.m. today; 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday ; services there Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mr. Joseph Hunter officiating. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
