McClellan Stevens and Adeline Chambers were married February February 21, 1884, Marysville, Marion, Iowa.

OBITUARY:

Stevens Funeral To Be Saturday

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Ponsford Baptist church for McClellan (Mack) Stevens, 77, Shell Lake retired farmer, who died November 28 from a heart ailment.
Rev. John Douglas will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Greene county, Ia., Stevens was born November 17, 1865. He came to Shell Lake in March, 1903.
He had served on the township board and for many years was an officer of School District 24.
Surviving are five children: Charles, Crosby; Ralph, Detroit Lakes, RFD; Mrs. Fred Graff (Irena), Minneapolis; James, Fort Warren, Wyo., and Mrs. John Courneya (Evelyn), Frazee. There are 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Stevens died March 20, 1934.
