SISTER OF MRS. ALEXANDER PASSES AWAY.

Arterial Sclerosis and Complications Cause Death of Mrs,. George J. Brenneman, Northwest of Elida, Wednesday Evening -- Sister of Mrs. Saloma Alexander -- Funeral Saturday Afternoon.

Mrs. Anna Brenneman, sister of Mrs. Saloma Alexander, South Main street, succumbed at her home, sour miles northwest of Elida, Marion Township, Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock. She had been ill for two weeks past and her death was caused by arterial sclerosis and complications.

Mrs. Brenneman was born on April 18, 1855, in Hocking County, Ohio, the daughter of Abram and Mary (Mericle) Ashbaugh. About twelve years later, the family moved to this vicinity to reside. Anna Ashbaugh was married to George J. Brenneman on August 18, 1875. There were ten children, three of whom have precede their mother in death.

Surviving Mrs. Brenneman are: her husband; seven children, Mrs. Clara Stemen, Elida; Mrs. Huldah Hughes, Lima; Mrs. Pearl Reedy, Indianapolis, Ind.; Alfred, of Marion, Ind.; Henry, of Elida; Abram, at home; and Merlin, of Indianapolis.

Two sisters and one brother also survive. They are: Mrs. Saloma Alexander, South Main street; Mrs. Kezia Losey, of Hudson, Michigan; and Isaac Ashbaugh, of Lima.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Salem church, north of Elida. Rev. W. Dale Oldham, pastor of the Church of God, Lima, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Salem cemetery.
