Vergie Lou Brown Loggins was born December 27, 1906 in Priceville, Morgan County, Alabama, to Lewis William Brown and Eliza Ann Jackson Brown.

She was the first wife of Edgar Eugene Loggins.

Mrs. Loggins was the sister of George Nathaniel Brown, Minnie May Dugger, Viola Putnam, Madgie Ola Vinson, Robert Lee Brown, Nova Layton, Ada Idella "Della" Young Vincent, Audrey Exodus Long, Woodrow Wilson Brown, Lewis Martin Brown, Elizabeth Turner, and Eliza Bell Phillips.

Mrs. Loggins died one week before her 35th birthday.

Mrs. Virgie Loggins Died Saturday Night

Mrs. Virgie Loggins, Decatur, Route 2, passed away Saturday night at Benevolent hospital at 7:50 o'clock at the age of 35 years.

Mrs. Loggins is survived by her husband, Edgar Loggins; two sons, Marlin and Charles; two daughters, Hazel and Irene; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Brown; four brothers and eight sisters.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Johnson's Chapel, directed by McAfee, Howell and Young.
