The daughter of Andrew J. and Mahalia Waltz Franks, she was born September 23, 1887 in Portland. Mrs. Heims, a resident of Pulaski County most of her life, was married to Samuel Ernest Heims in 1905. He died in 1971. Mrs. Heims was a member of the Ora Gospel Chapel.
Survivors include five sons, George of Monterey, Charley, Ralph and Merlyn Heims of Winamac, and Verne Heims of Plymouth; two daughter, Mrs. Vera Lichwark of LaCrosse and Mrs. Velma Warner of Argos; a brother, Mitchell Franks of Warren, Minn; 23 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
