Luther Bramblett, 78, of Lagrange, died Sunday at his home. He was a retired carpenter for R.B. Banta Construction Co., an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 39 in Lagrange, Carpenters Local 64 and Covington Baptist Church. Survivors: his wife, the former Kathryn Dawson; sons L. Stanton, Phillip W. and Mark W. Bramblett; a daughter, Debbie L. Pollard; sisters Geanette Shouse and Leona Sadler; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Arch L. Heady Radcliffe, Lagrange. Burial: Valley of Rest Cemetery, Lagrange.
