Henry Amen Rites Held On Wednesday
Funeral services for Henry Amen were held from the chapel of the Danekas Funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Amen passed away at his home in Ritzville December 21. He was born January 21, 1882, in Hastings, Nebr., and came to Adams county at the age of five.
He was a life-long farmer and retired to Ritzville about 24 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Emma at the home, and two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Verna) Arlt and Mrs Jess (Geneva) Graber. Amen leaves six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The Rev. Alfred E. Olsen of Naselle officiated at the services.
Pallbearers included Vernon Luiten, Everett Kiehn, Jim Burghard, Herbert Burghard, Donald Kiehn and Donald Baumann.
Honorary pallbearers were Melvin Seim, William Werttemberger, Alex Werner, Richard Miessner, Carl Arlt, Albert Schmidt and William Arlt.
Interment was at Ritzville Memorial cemetery.
