Funeral Service for Mrs. Becker Planned Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Becker, 85, will be held today (Thursday) at the Zion Congregational church in Ritzville at 2 p.m.
Rev. R. W. Rieger will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at the Ritzville Memorial cemetery. Pallbearers will include Alvin Maier, Larry Maier, Vernon Maier, Larry Klemmer, Bernard Klemmer and Art Pelley.
Mrs. Becker died Monday at the Jane O'Brian nursing home in Spokane.
She was born Oct. 7, 1875, in Russia and moved to the United States 73 years ago. She had lived in the Ritzville community 70 years.
Mrs. Becker was a member of the Zion Congregational church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Mary Hughes and Mrs. Ida Wolf, both of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Dora Maier and Mrs. Lydia Klemmer, both of Ritzville, and Mrs. Ruby Smith of Sprague; two sons, Reuben of Spokane and Norman of Milwaukee, Wis.; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
