Mother remarried and Wilhelmina was adopted and raised by maternal grandparents, Eva and Francis M. Corey of Shelbyville, IN. Married Clarence Krieg 18 Jul 1925 in Shelbyville. Parents of Rex, born 1930 in MI and Janice A., b. 1926 in IN. While driving to visit Krieg relatives in Bartholomew Co., IN, they were involved in a car/train accident. Clarence and Wilhelmina were killed and children survived. Clarence was buried with a military headstone and Wilhelmina was buried without a headstone. The family of her mother placed a memorial marker at her gravesite in August 2009.
