Mildred Gentry Burch, 84, of Paris passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received her into its care.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Burial follows in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery.

The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

She was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Lamar County to Nie and Willie Lambert Gentry. She married Noel Burch July 31, 1946. He died Nov. 10, 1986. She was a bookkeeper and spent the last 20 years with Graham International Truck Parts. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for more than 30 years and was treasurer for most of that time.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Jimmy and Scott Gentry; and one sister, Peggy Poole.

She is survived by one niece, Pam Figueroa of Paris; one nephew, Billy Poole of Powderly; two great-nephews, Heath and Jeramy Figueroa; grandniece, Courtney Poole; and one sister, Maxine Alford of Dallas.
