Mrs. Gentry was born 23 Jun 1903, in Glory, a daughter of James R. and Ida Taylor Lambert. She married Nie Gentry on 14 Feb 1924, in Paris. He died 20 Mar 1958. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She worked several years at the City Steam Laundry and Walker's Cafe.
Surviving are a son, Scott Gentry of Paris; three daughters, Mildred Burch of Paris, Peggy Poole of Powderly and Maxine Alford of Dallas; one sister, Laura Barber of Paris; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Gentry.'
