Fred Parman, 55, died at 12:35 am Friday in the Cardwell Memorial Hospital at Stella where he had been a patient for two days.
Mr. Parman was born Jan. 19, 1907, near Anderson and spent his entire life in the area.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary Florence Parman; and six sisters, Mrs. Martha Wood, Goodman, Mrs. Mary Painter, Goodman, Mrs. Ada Haddock, Anderson, Rte. 3, Mrs. Edith Guinn, Joplin, Mrs. Ruby Johnson, North Highland, Calif., and Mrs. Dora Reed, El Paso, Texas.
Services will be held at 4 pm today in the Tracy Community Church, eight miles east of Anderson. Rev. Johnny Williams will officiate, and burial will follow in the Tracy Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Anderson.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until noon today then will be taken to the church.
