Research done by Lori Campbell, the great-greatgranddaughter of Anna Maria Forney Moredick, indicates that Jesse was the son of John Forney, not Andrew Forney. John Forney was the son of Henry Forney Jr., who was the son of Henry Forney, on whose land Unity Brick Church was built.

UPDATE 08/07/2012: I have received conflicting information on the parentage of Jesse from Forney researcher, Judi Forney Olack. Judi is the great-granddaughter of William Henry Forney and indicates that Jesse is the son of Andrew Forney. This needs additional research and confirmation. Both researchers claim documentation proving their research of parentage.

From Lori Campbell 08/07/2012: The reason Andrew can't be Jesse's father is because he only had one male under 10 on the 1820 census: his own son, Andrew Jr. b 19 Sep 1815. Jesse would've been in that age group since he was born 16 Apr 1819. Jesse fits into the household of John Forney. Ditto 1830 for both households, Andrew's & John's.

Probably buried in Unity Brick Church Cemetery, but a legible headstone does not exist. My thanks to Anne Rupert for the following information:
