Born December 29, 1888, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late C. W. and Polly M. Tarter Trimble.
He was a retired farmer and a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
His first marriage took place January 6, 1910 to the former Flonnie Floyd, who preceded him in death.
His second marriage was to Ethel Mayfield, who also preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Glen V. Trimble, Somerset, and Claude C.Trimble, Nancy; three daughters, Nina Stringer, Nancy, Zella Colyer, Somerset, and Lois T. Hirst, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Willie Trimble, Anderson, Ind.; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Leo Trimble and Ada Tarter preceded their brother in death.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Elder Walter Jones and the Rev. James Floyd officiating.
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
