Glen V. Trimble, 82, Clifty Road, passed away Wednesday December 18, 2002 at Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 15, 1920 in Naomi Community of Pulaski County, a son of the late Vola Trimble and Flonnie (Floyd) Trimble. He was a 1938 graduate of Nancy High School, a WWII U S Army veteran, a retired farmer and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons, Larry Trimble, Frankfort, KY., Tim (and Jeanette) Trimble and Joey (and Trudy) Trimble, both of Somerset, KY.; one daughter, Rosemary (and Jeff) Ellis, Frankfort, KY.; one brother, Claude Trimble, Nancy, KY.; two sisters, Nina Stringer, Nancy, KY. and Zella Colyer, Woodstock Community; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Christina Rainwater Trimble, whom he married on May 29, 1940; one sister, Lossie Hurst.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 21, 2002 at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother David Bullock and Brother Marty Shadoan officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Memorial Garden. Visitation was after 6:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2002 at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy took the form of donations to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Building Fund or the Lake Cumberland Community Services Organization.
