Cecile M. Ladnier, lifelong resident of Dauphin Island, died Tuesday at a local hospital. She was 80.
She is survived by two sons, Joe Ladnier and Keith Ladnier, both of Dauphin Island; two daughters, Linda Hogue of Mobile and Rosie Cortichiato of Dauphin Island; two brothers, Lizzie Mallon and Paul Mallon, both of Dauphin Island; two sisters, Cora Collier and Rachael Mallon, both of Dauphin Island; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at St. Edmund by the Sea Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery on Dauphin Island. Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street handled the arrangements.
