Thanks to Linda Brown Simmons for locating the Missouri death certificate for Alford (listed as "Unnamed Infant"). His tombstone is listed in the inventory of Prospect in Greene County Cemeteries Vol VIII. I previously believed him to be the son of Marion F. and Lyda E. Batson, as he is buried next to them with other of their known children, and the death certificate, although it does not list his name, lists those of his parents and dates matching those on this tombstone.∼Infant son of M.
