BRAINTREE Catherine (McCabe) Bowser, age 84, of Braintree, formerly of Hingham passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009 at the Quincy Medical Center. Catherine was born and raised in No.Quincy. Graduate of No. Quincy High School. She retired from the former Grass Instruments after 20 years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and reading. Also an avid sport fan. Beloved wife of the late Ivan L. Bowser. Loving mother of the late Kathleen Condon and Charleen Wood. Devoted grandmother of Stephen Byers of Weymouth, Randy Wood of Lawrence and Jennifer Wood of Jacksonville, FL. Loving sister of Eleanor Sheehan of Braintree and the late Mary Ellen McCabe. Prayer Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home SO. WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt.18 Opp. So. Sh. Hospital) Weds. at 11:00 a.m. followed by the interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8.
