OBITUARY Iron River Reporter Aug 8 1960 "Heart Attack Is Fatal To C. Abrahamson"
Clarence Abrahamson, 51, lifelong resident of Stambaugh Township, died of a heart attack early yesterday morning at his home.
Mr. Abrahamson was born Feb. 13, 1909 in Stambaugh and attended township schools. For many years he worked as a carpenter in the west side district and for the past six years he was employed at Masuga's Millworks in Gaastra. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Stambaugh.
Surviving are: his wife, Irene; three children, Judith, 15, Kenneth, 12, and Sally, 6; his mother, Mrs. Hulda Abrahamson, pioneer resident of the township; three brothers, Erick, Gunnard and Aldo, all of Stambaugh township; and three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Smedlund, Mrs. Esther Heisel and Mrs. Louise Puckett, all of Stambaugh township.
Funeral services for Mr. Abrahamson will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church, Madison avenue, Stambaugh. The Rev. George Tiefel will officiate.
The body will be taken from the Johns-Fell chapel to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday to lie in state until the time of services. Friends may call at the Johns-Fell chapel after 7 p.m. this evening. The family has requested that flowers be omitted.

The Rev. George Tiefel officiated at funeral services for Clarence A. Abrahamson Wednesday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church.
Mr. Abrahamson died August 7 when he suffered a heart attack. He had been a lifelong resident of Stambaugh township.
Organist during the services was Mrs. Irene Meyer. Mrs. Albert Angeli, Mrs. Emil Sharlein, Miss Gail Roberts, and Miss Marcela camps sang "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" and "Who Knows When Death May Overtake Me."
Interment was at Stambaugh cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert Heisel, Walter Heisel, Martin Heisel, Andrew Puckett, Robert Benson and Anton Colberg.
Relatives and friends attending from outside the area were Arnold Dill, Stephenson; Mr. and Mrs. Albin Otto and Helmur Dill, Daggett; Mrs. Henry Dill, Menominee; Miss Janet Abrahamson, Ann Arbor; Miss Elaine Abrahamson, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. John Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Carlson, Mrs. Milard Borns and Mrs. James Puckett, all of Muskegon; Mr. and Mrs. George Fugate, Kenosha; Pfc. Lowell Puckett, Ft. Lee, Virginia; and Mr. Adolph Ziebarth, Menominee.
Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Johns-Fell chapel.
