Last Rites For H.(Buck)Jackson Held in Maypearl

Final rites for Henry Houston (Buck) Jackson were held Saturday afternoon at the First Baptist Church at Maypearl with the Rev. Rick Scarborough officiating. Burial was in Auburn Cemetery under the direction of the Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home.
He was born March 11, 1921, at Maypearl and was a farmer and rancher. He was married to the former Miss Frances Rutledge of Centerville in 1951. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maypearl and served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher there for many years. He served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II.
He is survived by his widow; a son, Ronnie Jackson of Maypearl; a daughter Kamie Jackson of Maypearl; his mother, Mrs. Lula Jackson of Maypearl; a brother, James Jackson of Midlothian; and a sister, Mrs. Velma Parker of Cleburne.
Pallbearers were church deacons.
