"Actually Dellie is the daughter of Alexander Smith and Malissa (Elizabeth) "Kerger/Keizer?" Kiger (I don't think anyone has figured out her real maiden name. It is spelled different on every child's death cert or birth cert) (Kiger is prob. the closest we will get to the actual name). After Alexander died (Bef. September 1867, poss Civil War Related), Malissa (Elizabeth) married Adam Cable and Della went to live with them. I don't know if Adam actually adopted her or not. BUT Alexander is her biological father."
