Mrs. Wellborn was the daughter of Charles Iverson Graves and Margaret Rockwell Lea.

Mrs. M. B. Wellborn, 59, former Anniston woman and wife of the governor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, died at her home in Atlanta early this morning after an illness of more than six years.

The body will arrive in Anniston at 8:08 o'clock tonight, funeral services to be held from Grace Episcopal Church at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. James M. Stoney, rector of Grace Episcopal Church will have charge of the services. Mrs. Wellborn will be laid to rest at Edgemont Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be W. B. Weatherly, H. A. Young, C. R. Bell, H. H. Montgomery, J. J. Willett and B. W. Pruet.

Mrs. Wellborn was a member of one of the most prominent families of the South. Before her marriage to Mr. Wellborn in the late eighties, she was Miss Mary Graves, of Rome, Ga. She came to Anniston with Mr. Wellborn immediately after the marriage, living here until the fall of 1914, when Mr. Wellborn was appointed a governor in the Federal Reserve system.

Since removal to Atlanta, Mrs. Wellborn has spent a part of each summer with her family at the country home at Maxwellborn, north of Jacksonville.

Mrs. J. F. Matthews, wife of the city attorney, is a daughter of Mrs. Wellborn. Arthur Wellborn, vice-president of the Commercial National Bank, is a brother of Mr. Wellborn, while Hubert Dent, local business man is a nephew.

Mrs. Wellborn is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Matthews of Anniston, and Miss Mary Wellborn of Atlanta; and three sons, John D. Wellborn, Walter H. Wellborn and William Wellborn, all of Atlanta.

Miss Mary Wellborn, who is a student at Ogontz in Pennsylvania, will arrive here Saturday at noon, while the other children and Mr. Max Wellborn will arrive here tonight.
