Mrs. Michael Rozell
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon (April 24, 1928) at Plainfleld by Rev. James Blake of Stevens Point, for Mrs. Michael D. W. Rozell, who died Sunday morning at Plainfleld. Several from Stevens Point accompanied Rev. Mr. Blake to the funeral.
Mrs. Rozell, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Bentley, was a daughter of the late Jesse and Harriet Bentley. She was born In Tioga county, Pennsylvania, December 17, 1847. When she was three years of age, the family moved to Wisconsin and located in the wilderness of what is now western Waushara county.
In 1870 she was married to Michael D. W. Rozell and to them were born two children, one daughter dying in infancy. The other is Mrs. Ed. Elliott of Plainfield, with whom Mrs. Rozell had made her home since the death of the husband and father nine years ago.
Mrs. Rozell had enjoyed good health until last winter, when her health declined.
Besides the daughter, one brother, John W. Bentley, remains, in addition to numerous other relatives. John W. Bentley is the last survivor of a family of 13 children.
