Joan Wieburg Cochran, 87, of Clarksville died Sunday, June 4, 1995.

She was born May 14, 1908, in Crawford County, the daughter of Frank and Mary Boyd Wieburg.

She was the widow of Eddie Cochran.

She was a life-long member of First Assembly of God where she served as Sunday School teacher several years. She was a member of Oakland Home Demonstration Club and was employed by Hurie School cafeteria many years.

Survivors include one son, Owen Cochran of Morrilton; three daughters, Thelma Shock of Conway, Lena Laney of Camden, and Pam Cockrum of Clarksville; one sister, Dolly Brown of Prescott Valley, Arizona; two brothers, Clyde Wieburg of Encampment, Wyoming, and Omer Wieburg of Earamie, Wyoming; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God by the Reverend Dada Kindrix.

Burial was at Oakland Cemetery by Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.

Pallbearers were Art Laney, Alan Laney, Sid Laney, Clay Neeley, all of Camden, Fill Neeley of Smackover, and Owen Eddie Cochran of Morrilton.
