Beatrice Estelle Deason Martin, 86, of Jupiter, died Friday, Jan. 25. She was a native of Bibb County, AL.

She served in the Army during World War II and received an honorable discharge as a sergeant from the Women's Army Corps in 1946.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Kenneth V. Martin; four children, Kenneth Martin and wife Gloria, Cindy Martin Heisler and husband Steve, Gary S. Martin and wife Oris and Craig D. Martin and wife Fran; a sister, Pinina Kane; a brother, Jake Deason; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jewell; Curtis Lee; Ganus; Huey; and a sister, Augusta.

A celebration of her life was Tuesday, Jan. 29 at St. Joseph's Assisted Living Center of Jupiter with a subsequent service planned at Little Hope Church in Bibb County.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407.

Arrangements were by Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home of Jupiter.
