The death of Mrs. Margaret Dietrich, wife of Carl Dietrich, residing 15 miles west of Harrington, on Lake Creek, occurred Aug 22, 1907 at 9 AM. Her death was a sudden and great shock, as it was unexpected. The disease, inflammation of the bowels, rapidly ran its course to a fatal termination. Mrs. Dietrich was born in Switzerland, March 1, 1863. Deceased was a sister of Chris Brugger, of Harrington. With her parents, and other members of the family, she came from Switzerland to the US in 1880, and they located in Brownstown, IL. Until March 1, 1904, she continued to reside in Illinois, and then came with the family to Harrington. Mrs. Dietrich leaves her husband and 7 children to mourn her sudden and untimely loss, the youngest being eight months old.
