five" and on another: "Amelia Bennett died Apr 20 1916 aged 60 years 5 months 4 days". All dates are about the same.

1910 Genesee Co., MI, Flint City: Federal Census mentions she is the mother of 8 children and 6 are living. Perhaps Fred was still alive? Present in the family were William 58, Amelia 55, Linnie 23, Howard 15, Garnie 9 and a niece, Lottie age 22. William's middle initial is
not clear, and his occupation is "Granite Cutter" (BENNETT WILLIAM B 58 M W NY MI GENESEE 1-WD FLINT 1910; Series: T624 Roll: 642 Page: 61).
1917 Nov. Only Charles, Howard, Flora and Garnie survive.

Her obit states she was a member of the M. E. Church (Garland St.), and Eastern Star. She had been sick for four months, death caused by complication of diseases. She was taken ill at Christmas time and had lived in Flint since 1891. Also she settled in Clayton, NY later came to Caro, Ludington, Owosso, Bennington, MI and in Flint, MI since 1891.
