Boots and her sister, Nippy, were born to my sister's cat, Samantha. My sister gave them to me. The first time that my mother saw them, she named them after two cats that my family had before I was born whom they resembled.
Boots was black and white and Nippy was a gray tabby.
Boots was kind of a standoffish cat. She didn't like being fussed over and cuddled.
After they were spayed, my cat, Shadow didn't like them anymore. He practically ran them off. They disappeared, but Nippy continued to come back off and on. Boots didn't.
