Eleanor "Peg" Manning Stine, 88, of Catasauqua, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. She was the beloved wife of 63 years of Glen J. Stine. Born September 27, 1919 in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late May (Strouse) and William T. Manning. She was a graduate of Buffalo Sate Teachers College and a retired school teacher.
Peg was very active in her community, with many years of service to the Girl Scouts, the Catasauqua Thrift Shop, Grace United Methodist Church and other community agencies. She especially enjoyed gardening at her home, camping with her family, and traveling.
Glen and Peg leave six chidren, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
