Albert Bryan Bullington, Sr.,76, of Spartanburg and Fort Myers, FL, died yesterday.
A native of Spartanburg, he was the husband of Eula Dickerson Bullington and son of the late T C and Rebecca Davis Bullington. He was a retired colonel, US Army Air Corp and served as deputy commander of Elgin Air Force Base, Ft Walton, FL during World War II. He was founder, president and chairman of the board of ABCO Industries and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a 1933 graduate of Wofford College and was inducted into the Wofford Athletic Hall of Fame in 1981.
Survivors include a son, Albert B Bullington Jr of Buffalo; two daughters, Rebecca Bullington Taylor of Spartanburg and Katherine Bullington Ciagala of Tampa, FL; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Vistation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Floyd's Greenlawn Chaper. Cryptside services will be at 10:30 am tomorrow at Greenlawn Memorial Mausoleum.
