Audrey Tate Gravley, 82, of Woodlawn died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at the New River Valley Medical Center in Radford. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Ronald Bowman and Timmy McGrady officiating. Interment will be in the Foster Falls Cemetery. She was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Wythe County, daughter of the late Margaret Tate. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Mae and John Koger, Liz and Bobby Thomas, all of Max Meadows, Pat and Junior Stone of Austinville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Mary Gravley of Rural Retreat, Roby Gravley of Galax, Billy and Geraldine Gravley, David and Liz Gravley, all of Woodlawn; a sister, Ruth Harrison of Austinville; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and special caregiver, Geraldine Gravley. Memorial donations may be made to Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Patricia Dalton. Reese Funeral Home in Austinville is in charge of the arrangements.
