Obituary of Sherrie B. Richards
Sherrie B. Richards was born April 11, 1854 in Woolmarket, Ms, located on the Biloxi River, the son of Narcice D. and Eleanore Feyard Richards. He moved to Pascagoula in 1870 and was married the next year to Miss Lavonia Powell at Moss Point by the Baptist Minister, the Rev. Elias Roberts. His wife died in 1932. At the death of Sherrie B. Richards, active pall bearers were his grandsons, Monty R, Sherrie, Julius, Walter, Raleigh, Herman and Glennon Richards and George O, Clarence E and Julius Clark and Joseph R, Jr, Francis O and Elmer Krebs. Honorary pall bearers were officers of the Lutheran church who are E. A. Colle, Sr, W. G. Smith, John Pickett, E. A. Haarala, Allen C. Richards, John H. Colle and Ray Turnage.
