OBITUARY: Menomonee Falls News May 4, 1923 "Pioneer Woman Called Came here in 1849. The demise of Mrs. Henry Minor (nee Laura Graulich) causes a break in the ranks of the pioneer settlers of Menomonee. She died at the home of her son, John E. Minor, Sunday April 29. Deceased was born Dec. 2, 1841, in Ohio and came to Wisconsin when a child with her parents, on Oct 24, 1860. She was joined in holy wedlock to Henry C, Minor. Of this union seven children were born to them, of which three died in infancy. Two daughters, Wealthy DeCluwe and Amanda Faulkner, also preceded her in death. Her husband died July 27, 1902. She is survived by a son, John E. And a daughter, Mrs. Marie Bunn, of Oshkosh, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one brother Daniel Graulich of Menomonee Falls. She was early converted to God, and joined the Evangelical Church, continuing to be a devoted member, and with infirmities that came with increasing years, she bore all with deep religious fortitude. Truly a good woman has gone to her reward. The funeral was held Wednesday. Rev. Hilman officiated. Interment at Sunny Side Cemetery."
