A home maker and a member of Avondale Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia, she was a teacher of love and life. Having lived in Macon most of her life, she made her home in the Stone Brook Suites in Gray for the past five years. She was preceded in death by her husband John B. Cole, Jr., son-in-law, Arthur Dalton, great grandchild, Jacob Hutcheson, six sisters and two brothers.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters LaVerne Dalton of Lake Sinclair, Johnnie Williams (Sonny) of Fort Pierce, Florida; son, Wendell R. Cole, Sr. (Diana) of Macon; grandchildren, Damon Dalton (Lori) of Bonaire, Wendell Cole, Jr. of Byron, Wendy Kay Corbett (Jeff) of Macon and Heather Clegg (Bill) of Baxley; great grandchildren, Jonathan Dalton (Paige), Dylan Dalton, Kaitlyn Cole, Austin Cole and Noah Clegg.
