BAKER, James N.—Died 9:45 a.m. southeast of Pauline; age 60 survived by his wife, Pearl, five sons, Guernsie (sic) of Eustis, Clifford of Mitchell, Roy of Hastings, and Virgil and Ceil at home, one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Lukas of Pauline, two brothers, D.W. and Maurice W., both of Pauline, and three sisters, Mrs. E.L. Schultz of Phillips, Mrs. Rosa Ellsworth of Blackwell, Okla., and Mrs. Kate Nicholson of Wash.; funeral announcements later.

Funeral Service for James A. Baker 60, were held at the Methodist Church in Pauline last Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Daniel Lapp of Roseland officiating. Mr. Baker had spent almost his entire life in this community.

One son Orville, died about 12 years ago. Two brothers, D.W. and Maurice, both of Pauline, and three sisters, Mrs. Jean Schultz of Phillips, Mrs. Rosa Ellsworth of Oklahoma and Mrs. Kate Nicholson of Washington, also survive him. Interment was in Oak Creek Cemetery.
